Alpine Does

Manda Lin comes to us from Angela Peevy, Dacula, GA.  We are very excited about adding this great doe to the herd.  Her genetics come from the Hoach's, Willow-Run, and Waiilatpu herds. She is a tall, high withered, long, level doe. The rear udder in this doe has superior height. Her dam was the 1997 spotlight sale doe with on champion leg. Manda Lin freshend with twin bucks in March '09 by GCH Cherry Glen Radical Highlight +*B. One of these guys will be retained as a herd sire, the other will be offered for sale. Manda Lin was GCH & BOB at '09 AL National Fair. GCH at '09 Commissioners Classic.

Ebony comes to us from Teresa Cline, Charlotte, TN.  She is a solid black doe, very stylish, uphill, and dairy.  1st in class at '09 AL National Fair & Commissioners Classic.

Betsy comes to us from Teresa Cline, Charlotte, TN. She is a black doe with a wide white belt. She has a globular udder that is tightly attached and milks down very well.

Sunrise Meadows Salsa AT1264613 Dob 2/19/03

"Sally" is sired by Neshaminy Acres Codon Kooler *B LA2002.  She is out of Sunrise Meadows SML Stella.  Bred by Angela Beasley in Chapel Hill, TN.  She got her dry leg as a kid and was freshened and sold for a family milker.  She stayed away from the show world until '08 and we took her to Alabama National Fair.  First in class AOP and Reserve Champion.  Just missed those 35 points because she was not in milk.  Judge raved about her strong top, dairyness and heavy bone.  Really surprised to see a 5 year old doe in this good of condition.

Update:  We lost Sally to Clostridial infection one week after the show.  Unfortunately other producers lost animals from the show as well.
